How Do I Create A Notice Board?

The process of creating a new notice board is simple, but before you can start you must first register and be logged in.

To Create a Notice Board you need to use this form that will help you to enter all necessary details. Now complete these easy steps.

Enter Board Details

Enter the notice board details and optionally upload a logo for your new board. Don't worry if you make a mistake or don't yet have a logo, as you can edit your store details as often as you like. When finished, click the Create button, that's it! Sounds simple and it really is.

The notice board creation form has been designed to be extremely simple to use, however, it also allows HTML to be used when creating the store's pages which means that there are few limits to the design you can come up up with!

Lets look at what information can be entered in slightly more detail.

Board Name	The name of your board, no duplicates are allowed within LocalAds. Ae suggest that you use your community or club name to make it easy for your members to find it.
Board URL	You can optionally have your own unique LocalAds URL that allows customers and visitors to go directly to your store and only see the notices associated with your board. The URL will have this format http://yourchosenurl.enotices.co.uk. You are free to use this URL on your mail correspondence, contact cards or marketing.
Description	Short description of up to 80 characters of the notice board. This will help users differentiate your store from others in the store selection screen.
Moderator	This field is simply for your information and serves as a reminder that the user currently logged in (you) are in charge of this board. This means you can sort and delete nortices of other users.
Boardtype	For more differentiation between the boards, please choose the most appropriate type for your board. This again will help users searching for boards to distinguish easier.
County	Every board has to bee situated in a county. Please choose your county from the list. Please not that the counties are grouped by country, so if you are looking to put your notice board into a Welsh county simply scrool further down.
Logo	The board's logo, which will be displayed next to your board in the board search page and the notice board details page. The logo's ideal size is 120 x 80 and larger images will be scaled down automatically.
Approved Board	This is a very important feature for you as the moderator. If you choose to make your notice board an "approved board", every notice will have to be approved by you before it can be seen by other users. You conveniently approve notices from within your "MyAccount" section.
Password Protection	If you want to create a notice board with access restriction, please enter a password here. This password will be needed in the future whenever users want to add notices to the board or display the notices of the board. (However, ever user needs to enter the password only once, Local Ads will remember it until the user closes the browser). Make sure you inform anybody you want to be able to use your board about this password!
Terms & Conditions	Please read the terms and conditions. By clicking the Terms & Conditions box you have indicated that you have done so and agree to obey them.
Click Create	This will create the notice board. Users can now start to create notices.
